Indian Land Middle School Boys Basketball Wins Big 35-28

It was a big night for Indian Land Middle School basketball team and their head coach Sammy Fitzpatrick. Armed with confidence and a dominating front line, the team claimed their first victory of the season against Buford Middle School. The game left fans in amazement, anticipating what the new year will hold.

The big front line, Tallon Glenn and Brandon Sellers commanded the boards and combined for a total of 14 points. “I was really proud of the effort of our front line players,” says Coach Fitzpatrick. “They blocked shots, rebounded, and outlet the ball for fast numerous fast break opportunities.”

Although the front line lead the night with an outstanding performance, the three guard line up of Darian Gueldener, Jordan Szustwal, and Colton Cashaw provided consistent outside shooting. “The zone defense was our greatest asset tonight,” stated Coach Fitzpatrick. “It forced Buford to take outside shots. Fortunately, they missed them tonight.”
